摘要： The invention relates to a device (1) for removing hair (46) from skin (30), comprising an optical hair cutting device (12, 14, 20), and a hair and debris removing system. The hair removing system comprises a remover part (36) that mechanically engages the hair (46) in order to remove it after severing, or cutting. The use of mechanical engaging means has the advantage that the optical contactless severing method, which by itself is not capable of removing hairs after cutting, is assisted in actually removing the hairs. The debris removing system may comprise a brush (36), a tape or fluid dispenser, etc., and may be assisted by a suction device (48).

摘要： The present invention relates to a skin treatment device (1, F). The device comprises a radiation source (13) in a housing, such that radiation can be emitted through an exit opening in the housing. It further comprises at least one skin presence sensor (43, 63) capable of measuring the presence of skin (7) in a number of respective positions, and a control unit (37). The control unit (37) is constructed to determine a covered portion of the exit opening (15) from a measurement signal of the skin presence sensor and to restrict emission of the radiation (13) to the covered portion of the exit opening (15), e.g. by modifying the control of a radiation beam manipulator (11), or by controlling radiation-blocking means, such as blinds, in the exit opening (15). The invention provides a more efficient and yet safe treatment device (1, 1'), since a larger exit opening (15) can be selected, while unwanted emission of radiation (13) through uncovered portions of the exit opening (15) is still prevented.

摘要： The present invention relates to a hair-removing device (1) in which a beam (14) of radiation is focused to a spot (18) for treating hairs to be removed. The focus (18) may be scanned over a part of a skin (20) to be treated by means of a manipulator means (32). The distance between the focus (18) and a window (24) through which the beam exits is held constant. In order to provide optimum skin-window contact and to prevent wrinkles in the skin to be treated, the window (24) is curved in at least one direction. The distance between the focus (18) and the window (24) may be adjusted. The device may provide a more constant focal intensity distribution with a simpler optical system.

摘要： The invention relates to a device (1) for the treatment of skin (13) by means of a radiation beam (5). The device comprises a radiation source (9) for generating the radiation beam, a beam exit window (15), an optical detecting system (31) for determining a target position (22) of the radiation beam relative to the skin, and a beam manipulator (17) for positioning the radiation beam in the target position. 摘要： The present invention discloses a method for controlling growth of hair on human skin with low doses of electromagnetic radiation, and a device (1) for carrying out the method. In the method, radiation (13) of a suitable spectrum is applied to the skin (12), in one or more pulses of between 1 and 100 ms, and with maximum fluencies on the skin between 1 and 12 J/cm2. By applying such low fluencies and at controlled pulse durations, follicles of the hairs are induced to the catagen phase. This means that the growth of the hairs of those follicles will stop. Although the method is not primarily aimed at immediate hair removal, hairs may be shed subsequently. In any case, further growth may be stopped for prolonged periods of time. The main advantage of the method is that the risk of damage to the skin is minimized.

摘要： The invention relates to a device (1) for the treatment of skin (7) by means of radiation. The device comprises a housing (3) accommodating a radiation source (9) and having an exit opening (15) for the radiation. The device has a control unit (37) which activates the radiation source only if the presence of the skin immediately in front of the exit opening is detected by a detector (43) that co-operates with the control unit. As a result, the radiation source cannot be activated if the exit opening is not covered. Preferably, the detector is suitable for measuring a scattering and/or absorption coefficient of the skin for light having a predetermined wavelength. Alternatively, the detector is suitable for measuring a reflection coefficient of the skin for light having a predetermined wavelength. In a preferred embodiment, in which the detector is provided in a skin contact element (21) in which the exit opening (15) is provided, the detector also detects the presence of the skin against the skin contact member. The invention can be used, for example, in a hair removing device (1, 1', 83) such as a laser epilator, a laser shaver or a flashlight epiilator, but also in devices for the medical treatment of skin by means of radiation, such as photodermatology systems.

摘要： The invention relates to a device (1) for the treatment of skin (7) by means of radiation pulses. The device comprises a housing (3) accommodating a radiation source (9) and a control unit (37) for controlling the radiation source. According to the invention, the device has a detector (43), which is suitable for measuring a biophysical property of the skin, and the control unit has means for determining, on the basis of a value or a condition of the biophysical property measured by the detector, a pulse dose from the radiation source that is safe for skin. In this manner, the device is automatically protected against an overdose from the radiation source that could cause undesirable side-effects on the skin. In a particular embodiment, the biophysical property measured by the detector (43) is a temperature increase of the skin (7) as a result of at least one test radiation pulse having a predetermined, safe pulse dose. In other embodiments, the biophysical property is the dispersion and/or absorption coefficient or the reflection coefficient of the skin for light having a predetermined wavelength.
