摘要： Disclosed herein is a transparent optical film, including an optically structured layer, which is a sheet formed of a transparent polymeric material and composed of a first surface having three-dimensional structures thereon and a second surface opposite the first surface, and a damage prevention layer formed on the second surface of the optically structured layer and composed of a transparent polymeric material and spherical organic or inorganic particles. The damage prevention layer has protruding surface portions formed by the particles protruding from the transparent polymeric material. The optical film of the current invention is advantageous because the prism structure and the opposite surface of the optical film are prevented from damage due to external impact, vibration and friction, and the attachment of impurities due to frictional static charges is prevented. Further, the front luminance and optical properties of the optical film are improved.

摘要： Disclosed is an optical film having an optical structure, such as a prism film or sheet, which is a constituent of a backlight unit. The optical film includes an optical structure layer having a plurality of optical structures, the surface of which is formed with irregularities, and the irregularities are formed on the surface of the light-collecting optical structure, such as a prism, to satisfy predetermined conditions, thus effectively realizing a light-diffusing function, thereby eliminating the need to additionally mount a diffusion film or a protection film. When a particle dispersion layer is further formed on the surface of a transparent substrate opposite the surface having the optical structure layer, damage due to friction to prism films or other sheets may be prevented during the layering of the prism films or transport, thus obviating the use of a plurality of optical films, consequently making it possible to economically manufacture a backlight unit with improved productivity.

摘要： Disclosed are a prism protection sheet, which is an optical sheet to be placed on a surface for forming prisms, corresponding to a light exit surface of a prism sheet, and a backlight unit assembly including the same. In the prism protection sheet, protection layers are formed on both surfaces of a substrate film using a composition solution containing light-diffusing particles and a binder, in which the protection layer in contact with the prisms has higher haze than that of the surface protection layer, thereby further increasing the light-scattering properties of the protection layer in contact with the prisms, leading to a higher contrast ratio and a widened view angle. The prism protection sheet is effectively used to construct an assembly of a backlight unit for LCDS, such as LCD monitors, notebook computers, TVs, PDAs, word processors, mobile phones, and games, requiring a wide view angle and a high contrast ratio while maintaining appropriate brightness, and the backlight unit assembly includes such a prism protection sheet.

摘要： The present invention relates to a continuous casting machine and method using molten mold flux. The continuous casting machine includes a mold cover for covering an upper portion of a mold; a mold flux melting unit for melting mold flux to be supplied into the mold; and a mold flux delivery unit for supplying the mold with the molten mold flux melted in the mold flux melting unit, wherein the delivery unit includes an injection tube with one end connected to the mold flux melting unit and the other end positioned in the mold through the mold cover, and an injection tube heater for heating the injection tube. According to the present invention, since a slag bear continuous casting machine and method using molten mold flux is removed, a consumption of mold flux is greatly increased compared with a case of a conventional casting work, so that the friction between a mold and a solidified shell is reduced. As a result, an amount of scarfing of a cast piece is greatly reduced and no carbon pick-up occurs.
