    • The invention relates to a supply unit for an on-board power system of a vehicle, which can be stabilized with relation to a basic on-board power system that comprises a starter and a battery of the vehicle. The supply unit comprises a DC/DC converter which provides a constant supply voltage to the on-board power system to be stabilized in the event of voltage dips of the basic on-board power system and has a substantial energy consumption. The aim of the invention is to improve said supply unit in such a manner that the on-board power system to be stabilized does not need constant supply via the DC/DC converter. According to the invention and in order to achieve said aim, the on-board power system to be stabilized can be voltage-coupled or voltage-decoupled to the basic on-board power system by means of a relay.

    • The invention relates to a system for monitoring a plurality of capacitor cells which are connected in series in a capacitor module (32u, 32u-1, 32u-2, 32i) and which are used as electrical energy stores in an energy storage device and which can be charged by a charge current flowing through all capacitor cells or discharged by a discharge current. The aim of the invention is to provide a system which avoids the problems caused by the change of capacity of individual cells. For this purpose, the system comprises a measuring unit (52) which can be used to determine the voltage applied to the individual capacitor cells by measuring the voltages, an evaluation unit (100) can be used to fix a nominal voltage for the capacitor cells, and the system has at least one discharge branch that can be connected to every capacitor cell.
