摘要： Described herein is an organic opto-electronic device comprising a cathode comprising at least one zero-valent metal; an anode; an opto-electronically active organic material; wherein said cathode is in contact with at least one organic ammonium salt. In certain embodiments, the organic ammonium salt has structure (I), wherein R 1 -R 4 are independently at each occurrence a C 1 -C 20 aliphatic radical, a C 3 -C 20 cycloaliphatic radical, or a C 3 -C 2O aromatic radical and wherein X - is selected from the group consisting of monovalent inorganic anions, monovalent organic anions, polyvalent inorganic anions, polyvalent organic anions, and mixtures thereof.

The getter precursor includes a alkali or alkaline earth metal cation and a non-oxidizing anion, which is configured to thermally decompose to change an oxidation state of cation to zero. Also disclosed herein are processes for hermetically sealing a package by coating a solution of the getter precursor onto interior defining wall surface of the package.

摘要： The invention relates to a polymer derived from: reaction of glycidyl (meth)acrylate, allyl glycidyl ether or [(vinyloxy)methyl]oxirane with ammonia or primary amine to obtain a mixture of monomer compounds; reaction of the mixture of monomer compounds with at least one of acrylic acid, vinyl alcohol, vinyl acetate, acrylamide, methylacrylic acid, and methylacrylamide to obtain an intermediate polymer; and reaction of the intermediate polymer with a dithiocarbamic acid salt. Methods for using the polymer are also described herein.

摘要： A process for the manufacture of high-purity elemental silicon is described. The process includes the step of preparing a silica gel composition by reacting at least one organosilane compound with an aqueous composition, so as to form granules of the silica gel. A hydrocarbon species is then decomposed by way of a hydrocarbon cracking reaction in the presence of the silica gel composition, so that carbon resulting from the decomposition of the hydrocarbon species is deposited on the granules of the gel composition. Heating of the carbon-containing silica gel composition to an elevated temperature produces the elemental silicon product. Related methods for making photovoltaic cells, using the elemental silicon, are also described.
