摘要： A braking band (3) for a sliding disc brake (1), comprises opposed braking surfaces (7) and is slidably coupled to a bell (2) adapted to be fixed to a wheel hub of a vehicle, said bell being provided externally with a plurality of projections (4) extending parallel to an axis (X-X) defining sliding surfaces (12) for the braking band. Said coupling means comprise sliding blocks (13) which extend radially from the band towards the axis of rotation and extend longitudinally to protrude from the braking band in a direction parallel to said axis, and each sliding block comprises only one sliding surface, adapted to co-operate with an opposed sliding surface of a projection, and an opposed surface bounding an aeration channel (15).

摘要： The present invention relates to a disc for a disc brake comprising a support bell and braking band being coaxial with each other. The support bell has a plurality of radial housings and the braking band has a plurality of connecting elements suitable to connect it to the bell. The connecting elements are integral and made as one piece with said braking band and overhang from the braking band in order to engage the corresponding radial housings. The connecting elements are at least partially surrounded by walls being integral and made as one piece with the support bell such as to be fastened in the axial direction and in the tangential direction and such as to be capable of sliding in the radial direction.

摘要： A connection system between a bell (60) and a braking band (20) of a disk-brake disk is described. The bell (60) has eyes (70) with through-holes and the band (20) comprises radial protuberances (38) provided with housing seats (44). In the assembled configuration of the band (20) and of the bell (60), protuberances are arranged astride respective eyes (70) with the through-hole and the seat of each protuberance aligned. The bell is connected to the band (20) by means of a bush (82) suitable for being inserted in th though-hole of the eye and at the same time engaging the braking band, by extending through the seats. Moreover, the seats are shaped in a manner such as to have straight portions in their sides and are suitable for permitting of the braking band (20) on the bush (92).

摘要： A method of making a brake disc comprising the operating steps: a) providing a disc brake, comprising a braking band (2) made of grey cast iron or steel and provided with two opposite braking surfaces (2a, 2b), each of which defines at least partially one of the two main sides of the disc; b) depositing a material in particle form on the disc using a HVOF (High Velocity Oxygen Fuel) technique, or HVAF (High Velocity Air Fuel)technique or KM technique (Kinetic Metallization) to form a protective coating (3) which covers at least one of the two braking surfaces of the braking band, The material in particle form is composed of 70 to 95% in weight of tungsten carbide, 5% to 15% in weight of cobalt and 1% to 10% in weight of chromium.
