    • The present invention provides an RF switch, including a diode adapted to operate as a switch when a control current is applied thereto, a first CRLH transmission line of a Φ degree phase, which provides one signal transfer path from a terminal 1 to a terminal 2 when the diode is shorted due to application of a control current, and a second CRLH transmission line of a Φ-180 degree phase, which has a 180 degree phase difference from that of the first CRLH transmission line and provides the other signal transfer path from the terminal 1 to the terminal 2. The present invention provides an RF switch having a broad-band characteristic by employing a CRLH transmission line. More specifically, the present invention provides a ring-shaped RF switch, which has a broad-band characteristic and can also be miniaturized at a low frequency band, by employing a CRLH transmission line having a 180 degree phase difference in a broad band.

    • The present invention relates to a power divider and a power combiner employing dual band-Composite Right/Left-Handed (CRLH) transmission lines. A power divider including an input terminal and two output terminals according to the present invention includes two transmission lines each having two terminals connected to the input terminal and the output terminals, respectively, and two short-stubs having one terminals connected to the output terminals, respectively, and the other terminals connected to grounds. The transmission line may employ a first dual band-CRLH transmission line having a double value of a termination impedance, which is substantially connected to the output terminal, as a characteristic impedance, and the short-stub may employ a second dual band-CRLH transmission line, which has substantially the same value as that of the termination impedance as a characteristic impedance. The first dual band-CRLH transmission line and the second dual band-CRLH transmission line generate phase delay of 90 degrees in a high frequency band and phase delay of -90 degrees in a low frequency band with respect to an input signal.

    • There is herein disclosed a miniature antenna with an adjustable resonant frequency without any change of the radiation performance, and an apparatus including the same. The antenna comprises two radiation conductors connected to a feed section and a ground plane, respectively, and a resonant circuit section as a zero-order resonator including inductors, transmission lines and a capacitor. The inductors and/or capacitor are configured of a variable element so that the impedance of the variable element can be controlled to adjust the resonant frequency of the antenna. In addition, the installation position and the size of the ground plane within the apparatus with respect to the transmission lines can also be controlled to adjust the resonant frequency of the antenna. Alternatively, the antenna may further comprise a variable capacitor connected to the inductors so as to adjust the effective inductance and change the resonant frequency. The radiation lines of the antenna are not related with determination of the resonant frequency, and thus the radiation performance is not affected by the adjustment of the resonant frequency.

The controller drives the switching device unit such that a switching-on time of a lower end signal of the H-bridge is longer than a switching-on time of an upper end signal of the H-bridge to eliminate residence power of a motor coil. An apparatus/method is provided. The residence current of the motor coil can be eliminated and thus hysteresis phenomenon can be prevented.

The apparatus for controlling a hybrid motor having a multi-phase independent parallel stator coil comprises: an encoder attached to a rotor of the hybrid motor and operated in cooperation with a sensor in order to sense the pole of the rotor; the sensor for outputting a sensor signal indicating the polo of the rotor, sensed by the encoder; a speed input unit for generating a speed instruction signal for driving the motor; a power switching circuit for generating signals for driving the motor; a drive module for receiving the speed instruction signal and the sensor signal and outputting the speed instruction signal synchronized with the sensor signal as a signal for driving the motor; a power supply for applying a DC voltage to the power switching circuit; and a logic power supply for converting the DC voltage received from the power supply into a logic voltage and applying the converted logic voltage to the drive module. When the motor has n phases, the motor includes n power switching circuits and n drive modules.
