摘要： A soft landing control system (10) for a screeding device (12) is operable to automatically lower a vibrating member (24) of a screed head assembly (14) into engagement with a concrete surface at a time and place where the vibrating member is not positioned over an overlap area of already screeded concrete. The vibrating member is automatically lowered onto newly placed concrete at or near the junction or cold-joint between the already screeded concrete and the area of newly placed concrete, so as to avoid depressions in the already placed concrete. Optionally, the soft landing control system may include a timing device and may lower the vibrating member after a period of time following an activating event. Optionally, the control system may detect when the vibrating device is positioned at or near the newly placed concrete and may lower the vibrating member in response to such detection.

摘要： A wheeled hose moving device (10) is movable over a support surface and is operable to grasp and lift and move a concrete supply hose (268) at the support surface. The wheeled device includes a wheeled support (12) and a hose grasping device (16) movably supported by the wheeled support. The hose grasping device (16) includes a pair of arms (48) that are generally vertically movable relative to the frame portion and that are movable relative to one another. The wheeled support is positionable generally at a concrete supply hose and the hose grasping device is lowerable to a level generally at the concrete supply hose. The arms are movable to engage and grasp the concrete supply hose, and the hose grasping device is operable to lift the grasped concrete supply hose, whereby the grasped and lifted concrete supply hose is movable over the support surface by the wheeled support.

摘要： A concrete finishing apparatus (10) and method for smoothing and flattening partially set-up concrete to a close-tolerance surface includes a movable unit (12) that is movable and supported at a partially set-up concrete surface and at least one rotatable ring finishing member (20) mounted to the movable unit. The rotatable ring finishing member is positioned at the concrete surface and rotatable to engage and finish the surface of the partially set-up concrete to a higher quality, closer-tolerance flat and level concrete floor surface. The apparatus may include a pair of rotatable ring finishing members that may be rotatable in opposite directions to enhance the floating and finishing processes and to transport any cement paste, sand, small aggregate, or concrete mix residue forward with the rotatable ring finishing members working surfaces to cut high areas and fill in any low areas as the concrete finishing apparatus moves over the partially set-up concrete.

摘要： A trailer for carrying cargo includes a frame, at least two axles mounted to the frame, and a deck. The axles have wheels at opposite ends of the axles for movably supporting the frame above the ground. The deck is pivotally mounted to the frame and is pivotable about a first axis relative to the frame and a second axis relative to the frame via at least two supports. The first axis extends generally longitudinally along the deck and the second axis extends generally laterally across the deck and generally normal to the first axis. The deck is also slidable generally along the first axis relative to the frame and/or one of the supports. The deck thus may be adjusted about multiple axes and may be moved forwardly or rearwardly relative to the frame to position the deck in a desired location and orientation relative to the frame.
