摘要： The invention relates to milking equipment, especially automatic equipment provided with means for sampling the milk. The method according to the invention, and the arrangement performing the method, can be implemented in a milking robot to provide samples of milk being extracted during a milking process that is representative in fat content of the extracted total amount of milk. For this purpose, the arrangement comprises means for extracting milk (2, 4) from the animal, a receiver (3), and means for transferring the milk (5) from the receiver to a sampling unit (21), wherein the extracting means is adapted to extract milk from the animal to the receiver. The arrangement further comprises means for stirring the milk (9, 10, 23) and is adapted to stir the milk before transferring a sample part of the milk to the sample unit. It is characterised in comprising means for determining (13) a milk yield of the animal, means for determining (13) a stirring time period on the basis of the milk yield, and the arrangement is adapted to terminate the stirring of the milk when the time period end. By stopping the stirring when the time period ends a satisfactorily stirring can be accomplished without subjecting the milk to excessive stirring.

摘要： The present invention relates to milking stations and methods of providing samples of milk, and in particular it concerns providing milk samples being representative for analysis of the milk, in particular its fat content. An arrangement in a milking station, in accordance with the invention, comprises a milking station for providing a representative sample of milk from one animal comprising at least one receiver (3), adapted to contain the milk from the animal being milked during a milking session, means for extracting milk (2, 4) from the animal to the receiver (3), and means (17) for transferring milk from the receiver to a sample unit (21). To provide representative milk for sampling, the arrangement comprises a pump (5) and a circulation line (9) extending from the receiver via the pump (5) and back to the receiver, for stirring the milk in the receiver. The arrangement can thus be used to stir essentially all of the extracted milk, before sample part of the milk is transferred from the receiver to the milk-sampling unit, thereby ensuring that the sampled part is representative of the milk from one animal, for example with regard to the fat content.

摘要： A milking system adapted to perform milking operations of animals is described. The milking system is arranged to extract milk from a milk producing animal and transfer the milk to a milk tank (2), and comprises milk extracting means (3, 4, 5), an intermediate container (6) and milk transferring means (7, 8, 9), wherein the extracting means is arranged to extract milk from the animal to the intermediate container, and the transferring means is arranged to transfer the milk from the intermediate container to the milk tank. The milk extracting means (3, 4, 5) comprises a plurality of teat cups (3) fluidly connected the intermediate container, and a vacuum source (4) arranged to selectively provide a suction vacuum in the intermediate container. In particular the system is adapted to inactivate the suction vacuum (4) during the transfer of the milk from the intermediate container, so that the pressure in the intermediate container is kept at atmospheric pressure.

摘要： The invention refers to a milking plant comprising a milking member (1) to be attached to a teat of an animal to be milked during a milking operation. A milk container (3) is connected to the milking member and adapted to collect the milk extracted during the milking operation. A milk pump (7), being a part of a milk transport conduit (5), defines a suction side and a pressure side. A milk tank (8) is connected to the milk container via the milk transport conduit and adapted to collect the milk from the milk container. A milk sample discharge device (30) is connected to the milk transport conduit at the pressure side. The milk pump is adapted to transport during a milk transport operation the milk extracted during the milking operation from the milk container in a major flow to the milk tank and in a minor flow via the milk discharge device. The milking plant is arranged to initiate the transport operation at the end of the milking operation. The milk pump comprises a centrifugal pump.
