    • A method comprising contacting a donor support with a recipient support to generate a mixture, wherein the donor support and the recipient support are selected from the group consisting of alumina, silica-titania, aluminophosphate, zirconia, titania, or combinations thereof, and heating the mixture to produce a polymerization catalyst, wherein a metal or a metal-containing compound migrates from the donor support to the recipient support.
