摘要： The present invention provides a method and a system for retrieving and restoring data which is available on a local archival media but lost or not available at a computer terminal connectable to the said local archival media. A list of data available on a particular archival media and a list of data available at the computer terminal are compared and sorted appropriately to generate a list of lost data which are to be retrieved and restored from the local archival media. Once the list of lost data is generated, the list is checked to render the path and feasibility of retrieving and restoring the files. Finally, the files are retrieved by selecting path and location in computer terminal.

摘要： The present invention provides a method that uses differential backup which is a key feature when uploading file for back up data from a client terminal to a server terminal. At the time of backup, only the changes from the client terminal side are sent back to the server terminal which saves the bandwidth and makes the process fast. While uploading, data is sent in the form of chunks of fixed size. In case any of the chunks could not be delivered on the server terminal, the same chunk is retransmitted from the client terminal.

摘要： A capacity planning method and system determines whether an organization has sufficient staff to perform tasks. The method and system identify each of a plurality of tasks to be performed by the organization, and identify subtasks associated with each of the plurality of tasks. Production rate information related to the amount of time or the number of staff needed to perform each of the identified subtasks is then determined. Based on the identified subtasks and the production rate information, a work volume is calculated. Staff availability is determined based on staff information related to the number of employees, identities and positions of employees, exempt status of employees, staff outage, the amount of work time that cannot be used to perform the subtasks, the amount of business days, and/or the amount of defined work hours per day. A capacity report is then generated based on the work volume and the staff availability.

In some embodiments, a camera contained in a mobile device is used to capture an image of a barcode that is visible on the surface of a substrate. The barcode may represent or otherwise encode one or more of payment account data, consumer authentication data, consumer profile data, or other relevant information. In some embodiments, the captured image may be processed by the mobile device to extract the payment account data, authentication data, or other relevant data. This data may then be communicated to a data processing element that is connected to, or forms part of, a payment processing network in order to conduct the desired payment transaction.

A section processor (113) divides the content item into sections in response to the protection information, and an access characteristic processor (115) determines an access characteristic for each section. For example, a restricted access playlist comprising all sections is stored together with an unrestricted access playlist not comprising protected sections. 摘要： A system and method for controlling a mobile device at a headend includes the mobile device communicating a request for content to the headend. The headend requests geographic coordinate location data from the mobile device and, when geographic coordinate data is available, determines a first geographic region associated with the mobile device in response to the geographic coordinate location data. When geographic coordinate data is not available from the mobile device, the headend extracts an IP address from the request and determines a second geographic region based on the IP address and a confidence level. When the confidence level is below a threshold, the headend determines a third geographic region based on subscriber data for the mobile device. The headend controls the mobile device in response to one of the first geographic region, the second geographic region and the third geographic region.
