摘要： The present invention relates to a separation matrix comprised of a support to the surfaces of which polymer chains have been coupled, wherein each polymer chain presents recurring proton-donating groups and at least the surface of the support is substantially hydrophilic. In the most advantageous embodiment, the support is porous cross-linked agarose, the polymers are poly(acrylic acid) and the proton-donating groups are carboxyl groups. The matrix is useful e.g. to remove PEG from pegylated and/or native compounds in a liquid. Accordingly, the invention also encompasses a method, such as a chromatographic method, wherein the separation matrix according to the invention is used, for example as a pre-treatment of a reaction mixture that comprises unreacted PEG, pegylated proteins and native proteins.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for purification of least one pegylated compound, which comprises to provide a separation matrix comprised of a porous support, which presents an average pore radius of at least 40 nm and to the surfaces of which functional groups have been immobilised; and to contact said matrix with a liquid that comprises pegylated compound(s) to allow interaction of one or more such compounds with the functional groups; and to recovering pegylated compound(s) as one or more fractions. The interaction is provided at functional groups located at the outer surface as well as located on the pore surfaces of the support. Thus, the porosity of the separation matrix allows for the pegylated compounds to enter the pores.

摘要： The present invention relates to a separation medium with various functionalities suitable for, for example, isolation of proteins, cells, and viruses and also for diagnostic applications and cell cultivation. The separation medium comprises magnetic metal particles, preferably coated with an inert synthetic polymer, and pre-functionalised beads. These particles and beads are provided encapsulated in a hydrophilic porous polymer, preferably agarose. The beads may be used for cell cultivation or for chromatography. When the beads are used for chromatography the agarose layer may be provided with ligands having affinity for selected biomolecules.

摘要： A method for dispensing droplets of a liquid to a microsystem in the form of a disc comprising a discrete target area (TA 1 ) in its surface. The method is characterized by comprising the steps of: i) providing A) said disc on which said target area is discrete and on which there is triggering mark, and B) a dispenser arrangement comprising: a) a spinner for rotating the disc around its axis, b) a drop dispenser which is capable of dispensing droplets to TA 1 , c) a fixed trigger position outside the disc, and d) a controller which is capable of triggering the dispensation of a droplet into TA 1 as a function of the triggering mark passing the trigger position via a dispensing signal; ii) placing the disc in the spinner and programming the controller with values for dispensing parameters that will give dispensation of the droplets to TA 1 ; iii) dispensing the droplets, preferably while the disc is spinning. The disc may comprise several discrete target areas. The target area(s) may be part of one or more microchannel structures and function as inlet ports for liquid. The invention also comprises the dispenser arrangement as such.

摘要： The present invention relates to magnetic beads suitable for, for example, isolation of proteins, cells, and viruses and also for diagnostic applications and cell cultivation. The magnetic beads are composite beads with an inner core of metal particles, which are coated with an inert synthetic polymer and these are then enclosed in a hydrophilic porous polymer, preferably agarose. This provides porous biocompatible beads without metal leakage. The beads may be used for cell cultivation or for chromatography. When the beads are used for chromatography the agarose layer is preferably provided with ligands having affinity for selected biomolecules.
