摘要： The present invention is a rheology-modifiable polymeric composition or a free-radical crosslinkable polymeric composition, wherein the resulting rheologymodifying bond or crosslinking bond is a thermally-reversible bond. The resulting polymer is prepared from at least one polymer which upon forming free radicals preferentially degrades or carbon-carbon crosslinks. The present invention permits suppression of the preferential reaction while permitting the polymer to be coupled or crosslinked through a thermally-reversible bond. Suppressing the undesirable degradation or carbon-carbon crosslinking reaction and permitting the desirable reaction yield a rheology-modified polymer or a free-radical thermally-reversibly crosslinked polymer.

摘要： Compositions comprising a polymer resin comprising at least one copolymer with hydrolysablε groups, a water-generating meial salt hydrate, and a catalyst that comprises a metal atom and at least two ligands taken from the set alkyjoxy and carboxylate are used to form articles that moisture-cure through in-situ generation of water via dehydration of the metal hydrate. The compositions are melt mixed to promote the dehydration and start the cure process during the mixing step. The curing compositions are formed and allowed to harden.

摘要： Oligoamines, such as a compound of the formula H 2 N(CH 2 CH 2 NH) n H in which n is an integer of 2-10, crosslink polymers containing carboxyl functionality unexpectedly faster than conventional diamines such as 1,6-diaminohexane. The combination of an ethylene- acrylic acid copolymer with an oligoamine of this type is useful for, among other things, the production of crosslinked wire and cable insulation.

摘要： An olefin metathesis process involving contacting an unsaturated fatty acid ester or unsaturated fatty acid, such as methyloleate or oleic acid, with a lower olefin, preferably ethylene, in the presence of a metathesis catalyst so as to prepare a first product olefin, preferably, a reduced chain α-olefin, such as methyl-9-decenoate or 9-decenoic acid, respectively. The metathesis catalyst contains ruthenium or osmium and a chelating ligand, preferably, a chelating ligand containing a carbene moiety and a second donor moiety of a Group 15 or 16 element. Optionally, the catalyst can be supported on a catalyst support, such as, a cross-linked polymeric resin.

摘要： The present invention is directed at a binder for a battery electrode comprising an ethylene oxide-containing copolymer including a first monomer of ethylene oxide (EO) and at least one additional monomer selected from an alkylene-oxide that is different from the first monomer of EO, an alkyl glycidyl ether, or a combination thereof; wherein the ethylene oxide-containing copolymer has a weight average molecular weight less than about 200,000 g/mole (e.g., from about 10,000 to about 100,000), the molar fraction of the first monomer of EO (X Eo ) in the ethylene oxide-containing copolymer is greater than 0.80 (e.g., from about 0.80 to about 0.995), and the ethylene oxide-containing copolymer has a peak melting temperature (T p ), in °C, for a selected X EO in the range of about 0.80 to about 0.995, which is below a maximum value of T pmax , at the selected X EO , which is calculated using the equation T pmax = (60 - 150 (1 -X EO )).
