摘要： The present invention relates to a simple, efficient and accurate breath collection device and a corresponding method for collecting the breath of a patient for analysis. The device comprises a gas mixture container (1) containing a gas mixture for inhalation by the patient, and a breathing unit (2) containing an inlet (21) connected to said gas mixture container (1) for letting in gas from the gas mixture container (1), an outlet (22) for letting out gas exhaled by the patientand a breathing element (23) for inhaling gas from the inlet (21) and exhaling gas to the outlet (22). The gas mixture container (1) contains a gas mixture containing a predetermined set of volatile organic compounds (VOC) markers.

摘要： A field emission device (1) may be used for emitting electrons in, for example, a field emission display (FED). Field emission tips (40) are used for the emitting of electrons in the field emission device (1). In operation of the field emission device (1) a voltage is applied between a first electrode (4) having electrical contact with the field emission tip (40) and a second electrode (34) to make the field emission tip (40) emit electrons. To form a field emission tip (40) a layer of liquid material is applied on a substrate (2) provided with the first electrode (4). The layer of liquid material is embossed with a patterned stamp and subsequently cured to form a field emission tip structure (20). A conductive film (38) is applied on the field emission tip structure (20) to form a field emission tip (40) that has electrical contact with the first electrode (4).

摘要： A field emission device (200) comprises a substrate on which an emitter material (270), such as printed CNT paste, is provided. During manufacturing, the emitter material (270) is activated by bringing a patterned mould or stamp (280) comprising an adhesive material into adhesive contact with the emitter material (270). The adhesive contact is such that it provides sufficient adhesive force when the stamp (280) is separated from the material (270), or vice versa, so that at least a portion off the emitter material is removed or rearranged to form a new emission surface on the emitter layer (270). The pattern of the mould or stamp (280) should match that of the emitter structure of the field emission device (200). Preferably, the adhesive material is provided as an adhesive layer on contact surfaces of protrusions of the stamp (280), which is suitable for activating emitter material inside the gate holes (235) of a triode structure for a field emission display.
