摘要： This document describes a device for adjusting the position of equipment on a camera support via a support interface. The device comprises a slider body for slidable mounting to the support interface, the slider body having a hollow portion comprising a slope part; a lever pivotally mounted to the slider body about a pivot axis, the lever comprising a mounting located outside the pivot axis; a push assembly mounted on the mounting, the push assembly having an end for interacting with the slope part; and an intermediate member connected to the slider body. Pivoting the lever toward a locking position causes the end of the push assembly to interact with the slope part and push on the intermediate plate thereby causing the intermediate plate to move toward the support interface to cause friction between the support interface and the intermediate plate and lock the device in place.

The assembly comprises a rotation-blocking portion comprising a pivot axis, the rotation-blocking portion for being rotatable about the pivot axis and relative to the support when in an unlocked position, and when in a locked position, the rotation blocking portion for preventing its rotation about the pivot axis; a handle depending from the rotation blocking portion; and a locking mechanism comprising a push-button and a lock release. The locking mechanism is for locking the rotation-blocking portion in the locked position, and for unlocking the rotation-blocking portion in the unlocked position upon a pushing motion being applied to the push-button to actuate the lock release, the unlocked position thereby allowing the handle to be pivoted about the pivot axis.

摘要： The present document describes a lever-activated clamp for clamping camera equipment to a camera support having a mounting rod, the clamp comprising a cylinder housing having a central hollow space and an arch portion comprising an arch interface adapted to receive the mounting rod, a plunger travelling within the central hollow space, the plunger having a locking interface for applying pressure on the mounting rod between the arch interface and the locking interface; and a lever having a cam portion, the lever pivotally mounted on the cylinder housing; wherein, when the mounting rod is placed within the arch portion, pivoting the lever causes the cam portion to push against the plunger which in turn applies pressure on the mounting rod to lock the mounting rod between the arch interface and the locking interface.
