    • A dental-implant planning method comprises: constructing a surgical guide (2) and placing the latter on a buccal structure (1) of a patient, pressing the gums (1a) included therein; acquiring three-dimensional anatomical information on said buccal structure (1) with the surgical guide fitted therein; producing a physical reconstruction (3) of the buccal structure (1), on a one-to-one scale, including indications of a planned trajectory for the dental implant, and recessed zones (3a, 3b) corresponding to the gums (1a) being pressed; and positioning the surgical guide (2) on the physical reconstruction (3) and making a hole (5) through the surgical guide (2), following the indications of the planned trajectory.
