摘要： A wheel with a suspension system being connectable to a vehicle, like a wheel chair, comprises a hub (38) and a rim (34) rotatable about the axle (42) of the hub (38). Between the hub (38) and the rim (34), a number of support members (40) is located. The support members (40) are adapted to retain the distance when stressed up to a threshold value and recoverly alter the distanced when stressed over this threshold value. According to the invention, the support members (40) are comprising spring elements (50), damping strokes by compression if the support member (40) is compressed or elongated. The spring elements (50) are preferably preloaded.

摘要： A rotatable damper ( 100 ) comprises a mass ( 110 ) fully rotatable around an axis of rotation configured for self -damping a mechanical disturbance. The rotatable mass comprises a fully rotatable structure comprising an outer frame ( 2100 ) and an inner frame ( 2400 ) bound to rotate with the fully rotatable structure and further movable one relative to the other in at least one axis and a first chamber ( 3200 ), disposed between the outer frame and the inner frame, containing a fluid and comprising a first opening in direct communication with a first constriction ( 3300 ). The first chamber is readily compressible between a first portion of the outer frame and a second portion of the inner frame when forcibly approached by said mechanical disturbance. The first chamber, when compressed, is configured to expel at least partially the fluid through the first constriction, thereby facilitating damping of the mechanical disturbance.

The device enables multi -dimensional and angle-agnostic displacement of the rotational power output with respect to the input location and transference of high-torque and high-speed rotational movement, while preserving maximal efficiency and quick response. The device is a transmission gear that comprises at least two gear-links in a multi-link articulated gear (MLAG). Each of the links comprising at least two gear wheels. The transmission gear further comprising a common axis adapted to allow the links to rotate freely with respect to each other about the common axis and thus to allow change of the angle between the at least two links and thereby to change the distance between the input shaft and the output shaft.

The wheel incorporates or is connectable to a torque source capable of producing torques up to a maximal torque for rotating the wheel around a rotation-axis. In this invention, the suspension unit includes at least one structural member, provided at least partially between the rim and the hub, configured to change in size and/or shape, relative to a nominal size and/or shape thereof, during displacements and/or rotations of the hub relative to a center point of the rim. The suspension unit also includes at least one motion resisting component adapted to retain the structural member at the nominal size and/or shape thereof under torques smaller than the maximal torque.
