    • An adjustable door stop system (10) and method for a hinge mounted door having at least one hinge leaf (12) connected to the door (14) and at least one hinge leaf (16) connected to the doorway (18). The door stop system (10) includes a hinge pin (22) having an axis about which the hinge leaves rotate. A first disk (26) extends radially from one end of the hinge pin. A second disk (30) has an opening to receive the hinge pin therethrough. A finger (28) extends from the first disk (26) substantially parallel to the axis (24) of the hinge pin (22). A finger (32) also extends from the second disk (30) substantially parallel to the axis (24) of the hinge pin (22). The first disk finger engages the hinge leaf (16) connected to the doorway (18) and the second disk finger (32) engages the hinge leaf (12) connected to the door to thereby stop movement of the door without contacting either the door or the doorway.

    • An adjustable door stop system. A hinge mounted door has a least one hinge leaf connected to the door, a least one hinge leaf connected to a doorway, and a hinge pin having an axis about which the hinge leaves rotate. A movement control cylinder includes a first finger extending radially and axially, a cylindrical portion substantially parallel to the axis of the hinge pin, and an axial opening. A movement control cap has a second finger extending radially and axially, a cylindrical portion substantially parallel to the axis of the hinge pin, and an axial opening. The cylindrical portion of the movement control cylinder engages the cylindrical portion of the movement control cap to prohibit rotational movement of the door beyond a selected position.

    • Method of forming a furnace cooling element involving casting a metal block or plate (10) around one or more elongated metal tubes (11) which have a protective coating applied thereto, and thereafter the, or each, metal tube (11) is explosively expanded by an explosive charge (12) closer to the surrounding material of the metal plate (10).
