    • The invention relates to a method for controlling both the coolant supply and the lubricant supply to a clutch of a motor vehicle having an automatic transmission, in particular for controlling the coolant supply and the lubricant supply of a double clutch of an automatic double-clutch transmission. Various operational states of the transmission can thereby be controlled via a gearshift lever. The coolant flow supplied to the clutch during the operation of the motor vehicle can be interrupted intermittently for certain operational states of the transmission, or for certain gear shifts within the transmission, thus realizing the coolant pause. Drag torques are prevented in that the cooling and lubrication of the clutch are carried out using the same fluid, that is, a coolant, in particular a cooling oil, from a single coolant circuit; in that, when the gearshift lever is in the parking brake (P) position or the neutral gear (N) position and the corresponding operational state is realized in the transmission, or that, when certain shift position changes are realized within the transmission and the speed selector actions required therefor are executed in the transmission, a coolant pause is realized, and for the duration of the coolant pause, no effective quantity of a fluid volume flow for cooling is fed to the clutch, while during this coolant pause for lubrication purposes of the clutch components, a ramp or pulse feed of a fluid volume flow for lubricating the clutch components is realized, at least intermittently.

    • A process for the deep desulfurisation of hydrocarbons (HC), in particular Natural Gas Condensate (NGC), and HC comprising diesel, pre-extracted diesel and naphtha, is described which is capable of reducing the sulfur content of these HC from 500 to 30 ppm. The process comprises contacting the hydrocarbon material with an oxidant selected from organic peroxy acids, organic peroxides, inorganic peroxides and mixtures thereof, in at least a stochiometric amount sufficient to oxidise a sulfur compound to a sulfone compound; contacting the hydrocarbon material with an aqueous extractant to allow at least a portion of the oxidised sulfur compounds to be extracted into the aqueous extractant, and separating the hydrocarbon material from the aqueous extractant to give a hydrocarbon material of reduced sulfur content. Optionally, the process may include a second and subsequent extractions with the aqueous extractant to further reduce sulfur content. A final extraction with an IL may be conducted. The invention also provides for substitution of the aqueous extractant with an IL in one or more of the other extraction steps. The extractants and by products generated during oxidation can be recovered by simple distillation techniques.

    • The invention relates to a device and method for lubricating and cooling gear mechanisms. Said device comprises a supply line for supplying lubricating and coolant oil from an oil sump into a first channel that is connected to the supply line and is located in a spray pipe. The latter is connected to at least one first nozzle for the targeted spraying of the lubricating and coolant oil into areas of the gear that require extensive lubrication and that are allocated to the first channel. The supply line is connected to at least one second channel and at least one second nozzle that is connected to the latter for the targeted spraying of the oil in areas that require extensive lubrication and are allocated to the second channel.
