    • The invention relates to a vehicle security device with at least one control function device (F1) which provides a first code word (C1), an anti-theft device (DS) which is connected through a bus to the control function device (F1), at least one input unit (E) which transmits a second code word (C) to the anti-theft device (DS) which forwards it to the control function device (F1) whereby the first code word (C1) of the control function device (F1)is compared with the second code word (C2) in the control function device (F1). If the first code word of the control function device (F1) coincides with the second code word the control function device (F1) is released, whereby the anti-theft device (DS) initiates the provision of the first code word (C1) and the second code word (C2).
