摘要： The invention concerns a method to extract a diffusion direction from DW- MR signals, in which a magnetic field gradient q i is applied to a body part, a magnetic resonance signal S i is measured and a diffusion direction μ j is determined. 摘要： An example-based filling system identifies appropriate filling material to replace a destination region in an image and fills the destination region using this material, thereby alleviating or minimizing the amount of manual editing required to fill a destination region in image. Tiles of image data are borrowed from the proximity of the destination region or some other source to generate new image data to fill in the region. Destination regions may be designated by user input (e.g., selection of an image region by a user) or by other means (e.g., specification of a color or feature to be replaced). In addition, the order in which the destination region is filled by example tiles may be configured to emphasize the continuity of linear structures and composite textures using a type of isophote-driven image-sampling process.

摘要： A method for generating image descriptors for media content of images represented by a set of key-points, fn, is recommended which determines for each key-point of the image, designated as a central key-point, a neighbourhood of other key-points, fml, whose features are expressed relative to those of the central key-point. A sparse photo- geometric descriptor, SPGD, of each key-point in the image being a representation of the geometry and intensity content of a feature and its neighbourhood is provided to perform an efficient image querying for efficient searches. The approach demonstrates that incorporating geometrical constraints in image registration applications does not need to be a computationally demanding operation carried out to refine a query response short-list.

摘要： The invention proposes a new motion layer extraction method using reference layer mosaics. One motivation is to work with distant images (whose motion in between is more discriminative) while reducing the number of pairs of images to be handled benefiting from the fact that layer mosaics represent the video sequence in a compact way. In this model, not only extracted layer supports for mosaicing are used but also layer mosaics for motion segmentation. In the proposed approach, instead of linking temporally many images pairs from the sequence, the currently processed original image is linked temporally with two sets of motion layer mosaics only. Thus a new image-to-mosaic data term replaces the usual image-to-image motion data term in the objective classification function.
