    • The invention concerns a self-adhesive strip-like or fibrous reinforcing material having binder properties for textile fibre non-woven fabrics. The invention further concerns a process for the manufacture of the reinforcing material, its use in producing textile fibre non-woven fabrics, the textile fibre non-woven fabrics produced thereby and the use of the latter in the automotive field. The self-adhesive strip-like or fibrous reinforcing material comprises laminates of at least two or more co-extruded layers of at least one high-temperature-resistant synthetic material (A) and at least one synthetic material (B) with a low melting point. The synthetic material (B) with a low melting point displays self-adhesive binder properties whilst the high-temperature-resistant synthetic material (A) is suitable for imparting desired increased physical properties to textile fibre non-woven fabrics, in particular in the automotive field.
