An axial dimension of the tip portion may extend at an angle relative to an axial dimension of the neck portion. Liquid may flow out of the first channel under the influence of gravity and as a result of control of air flow into the second channel.

A sealing device may be coupled to the tip and configured to seal the aperture. The sealing device may permanently unseal the aperture upon decoupling from the tip.

摘要： An apparatus and method for preparing a pH balanced saline solution and using the saline solution for rinsing a nasal passage. The apparatus includes a container 30 having flexible sidewalls and an opening for a removable cap 20. The cap 20 has a rounded convex upper portion curving away from an opening 15 at the cap's uppermost surface and has a conduit 55 in the cap's interior, which conduit 55 extends into the container 30 when the apparatus is fully assembled or is connected to a tube 35 that extends in the container 30. A saline solution is prepared by adding sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate to distilled water. The sidewalls of the container 30, filled with the saline solution, are compressed to urge the saline solution through the conduit 55, or tube 35 and conduit 55, and through the opening 15 in the cap 20 and into a nasal passage, the cap 20 being pressed against a nostril to provide a comfortable and effective seal.

The web of the invention can comprise a super absorbent fabric or layer made of a superabsorbent particle or fiber. The web can comprise a nanofiber layer having dispersed within the nanofiber layer a super absorbent particulate and optionally a second particulate material that can act as an absorbent, adsorbant or reactant. Fluid, gas or liquid, that flows through or by the assemblies of the invention can have any gas, liquid or solid material dispersed or dissolved in the fluid interact with the super absorbent particulate. If needed these materials can also react with, be absorbed by, or adsorbed onto, the active particulate within the nanofiber layer. The structures of the invention can act simply as flow-by reactive, absorptive, or adsorptive layers with no filtration properties, or the structures of the invention can be assembled into filters that can filter particulate from a mobile fluid in a flow-through mode while simultaneously reacting, absorbing, or adsorbing materials from the mobile fluid.
