    • A tensioner with a piston is slidably received with a bore (216) of the housing and has a plurality of grooves (204b) formed on its outer circumference. A piston spring (226) biases the piston (204) in an outward direction from the bore. A pawl (206) is received by a cutout in the housing and is pivotally and slidably attached to the housing by a pin (208).
