摘要： Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to compositions suitable for manufacturing polyethylene foam. In one aspect, a composition suitable for making uncrosslinked low density polyethylene foam comprising at least 50 weight percent low density polyethylene based on the total weight of the composition, wherein the low density polyethylene has a density of 0.915 to 0.930 g/cm 3 and a melt index ( I 2 ) of 1 to 4 g/10 minutes; and polytetrafluoroethylene having an average particle size of one micron to 15 microns.

摘要： This invention relates to compositions and methods for improving the adhesion of resin compositions to substrate materials, pre-treating substrate materials to improve the adhesion of resin compositions to the substrate materials, and/or controlling gel formation of resin compositions. More particularly, the invention relates to compositions and methods for improving the adhesion of ring opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP) compositions to substrate materials using adhesion promoters containing isocyariate groups in a resin composition. The invention also relates to methods for improving the adhesion of resin compositions to substrate materials by pre-treating substrate materials with adhesion promoters containing isocyanate groups. The invention further relates to a method of providing a gel- modified ROMP composition, in which a hydroperoxide is added to a ROMP polymerizable resin composition in order to control gel formation of the polymerizing resin. An improved ROMP composition is further disclosed, comprising a cyclic olefin, a ROMP metathesis catalyst, an adhesion promoter, and an added hydroperoxide gel modifier. The polymer products produced via ROMP reactions of the invention may be utilized for a wide range of materials and composite applications. The invention has utility in the fields of catalysis, organic synthesis, and polymer and materials chemistry and manufacture.

A method of producing a precursor solution for producing a semiconductor includes preparing a first precursor solution that has at least one of an alkali metal or an alkali metal compound dissolved in a first solvent, preparing a second precursor solution that has a metal chalcogenide dissolved in a second solvent, and combining the first and second precursor solutions to obtain the precursor solution for producing the semiconductor. A method of producing a semiconductor device includes providing a precursor solution for producing a semiconductor layer on a substructure, and forming a layer of the precursor solution on the substructure. The precursor solution includes at least one of an alkali metal or an alkali metal compound dissolved in a solvent, and a metal chalcogenide dissolved in the solvent.
