    • The present invention relates to a hybrid type of odor removing apparatus, a portable food processing apparatus using the same, and a control method therefor. A catalytic deodorizing module and an activated carbon module are provided in the odor removing apparatus, and operate together during operation and non-operation of the processing apparatus. By selective operation, food waste can be processed without discharging odors indoors. A characterizing feature of the food waste processing apparatus according to the present invention is that it comprises: a food processing unit for stirring and grinding food introduced into a food processing chamber, while drying the food using hot circulated air; an odor deodorizing unit in which an activated carbon module and a catalytic deodorizing module are provided separately, and which is used to remove odors contained in dried gases discharged from the food processing unit; a forcibly exhausting unit for sucking in the discharged gases removed of odors and discharging the gases to the outside; and a control unit for controlling the switching of a flow path to one or other of the activated carbon module and the catalytic deodorizing module, based on one or other of temperature, humidity, and the odorous gas concentration in the dried gases conveyed from the food processing unit to the odor deodorizing unit.
