    • The invention relates to sealing means (2) for a fuel-injection valve (1) that can be introduced into a receiving bore (3) of a cylinder head (4) of an internal combustion engine, said valve being used for directly injecting fuel into a combustion chamber (7) of the internal combustion engine. The sealing means comprise a sealing element (17), which encloses the circumference of a nozzle body (5) of the fuel-injection valve (1). The sealing means (2) comprise a base body (15) with an axial cavity (16), through which the nozzle body (5) extends. The base body (15) also has an annular recess (18) connected to the cavity (16), into which the sealing element (17) is introduced. A first bearing surface (51) of the base body (15) abuts a front face (58) of the fuel-injection valve (1), at least indirectly, and a second bearing surface (57) lying opposite the first (51) at least indirectly abuts a step (11) of the receiving bore (3).

    • Fuel injection valves with venturi filters (50) for supplying fuel or fuel/gas mixtures to internal combustion engines are characterised in that they ensure a particularly high spray quality and remarkable fuel conditioning. In addition, the venturi filter (50) forms a protection screen against icing, plugging and deposits of chemical substances inside the fuel injection valve. The venturi filter (50), which has a shell-shaped, concave bulging form, is mounted downstream of at least one injection hole (15), seen in the fuel flow direction. The outer circumferential area (60) of the venturi filter (50) is cast into the protective cap (40) provided at the downstream end of the fuel injection valve. The protective cap (40) has protective teeth (62) that extend further downstream than the deepest area (56) of the venturi filter (50), in order to protect it against mechanical influences. When fuel is injected, a partial amount of fuel gathers in said deepest area (56) and forms a relatively still amount of liquid, to which new fuel is added. This arrangement allows ideal spraying of fuel in smallest droplets.

    • A fuel injection valve (13) for injecting fuel into an internal combustion engine in which at least two separate streams of fuel (14) are directed into different inlet channels or ports of a cylinder.     • In known fuel injection valves, gas is supplied in an adapter through gas supply channels oriented towards the fuel in a central opening. These adapters are made of a single piece, so that no variable gas dosage is possible and machining the gas supply channels is made more difficult.
