    • The invention concerns a circuit designed to supply, without the need for a battery, the electronic control unit of a machine powered by an internal-combustion engine, in particular a hand-held machine, with a nominal d.c. voltage (Vcc), the machine having an a.c. generator driven by the engine to produce a voltage (Ug) which is dependent on the running speed of the internal-combustion engine. The circuit (10) has a first rectifier circuit (D1, C1) which converts the generator voltage (Ug) into an intermediate d.c. voltage (Uz) which ensures that the electronics of the machine is supplied with the necessary nominal d.c. voltage, even during the start phase, without the need for additional batteries. In order to provide a simple, robustly built circuit of this kind, the invention proposes that the circuit (10) also includes first means (L, Ic2, D3, C3) which are connected downstream to the first rectifier circuit (D1, C1) and which generate the nominal voltage (Vcc) by controlled up consversion of the intermediate voltage (Uz) for as long as, at low running speeds, the intermediate voltage (Uz) is lower than the nominal voltage (Vcc).

    • The invention concerns a method of controlling injection in a high-speed two-stroke fuel-injection internal combustion engine (10). According to this method, the operating behaviour is optimized even for compact small-size engines in that, in a first step, parameters (TL, TB, p, n) of the two-stroke engine (10) are continuously measured, these parameters characterizing the operating state of the two-stroke engine (10). In a second step, the injection amount or injection duration (injt) measured for the operating state of the two-stroke engine (10) at a given moment is calculated from the measured parameters (TL, TB, p, n); and in a third step, the beginning of injection or injection angle (injalpha) and injection amount or injection duration (injt) of the two-stroke engine (10) are controlled using the calculated injection amount or injection duration (injt) and according to given reference signals (Jignition, JHall, SalphaKW(UH)) taken from the two-stroke engine.

    • The invention concerns a method of controlling the injection process in a high-speed 2-stroke internal combustion engine (11). According to the invention, the internal combustion engine (11) comprises first means (12) for generating one trigger signal per revolution, said signal being fixed with the angle of rotation, for controlling injection, and second means (13) for generating alternating voltage which is dependent on the speed of rotation and whose period is a fraction (1/n) of the time per revolution (revolution time) of the 2-stroke internal combustion engine (11). A simple electronic injection-control arrangement having optimum injection parameters which can be calculated precisely for all speeds of rotation is attained in that, in addition to the trigger signal, the alternating voltage generated is additionally used to control the injection process.
