摘要： A hydrogen generating system operable with an engine of a vehicle including a turbocharger, the hydrogen generating system comprising: an electrolysis assembly including at least one anode and at least one cathode configured to be capable of generating hydrogen gas by application of an electrical current therethrough in an electrolyte and a gas delivery system for delivery of generated hydrogen gas to the engine; and a system for monitoring engine condition in respect of turbocharger condition, the system including a function for detecting an engine turbocharge status and a function for controlling the delivery of generated hydrogen gas to the engine of the vehicle in response to the detection of a selected engine turbocharge status.

摘要： An injection adapter for delivering SMAE gas additive to a combustion engine is presented. The injector adapter includes an injector adapter flare, an injector adapter tube, and an injector adapter bar. The injector adapter flare may be threaded to permit mounting thereof to an air intake manifold, and may be configured to dispense SMAE additive gas from an aperture at a tip thereof. Mounting the injector adapter as far upstream of the combustion engine chamber(s) and dispensing SMAE substantially in the center of the air intake manifold improves the homogeneity of mixture of SMAE gaseous additive with either aspired air or an air-fuel combustion mixture in the air intake manifold.

摘要： A gas liquid separator system for a hydrogen generating apparatus includes a collection area for collecting liquid from the generated gases. To empty the collection area occasionally so that liquid does not build up and become entrained again in the dried gas, a vent solenoid is provided in communication with the collection area and a pump is used to create a vacuum periodically on the electrolysis cells. Such arrangement is used to open the liquid gas filter and possibly just the sump to atmosphere occasionally and vacuum generated to draw the liquid from the sump back to the electrolysis cells.

The system may include an electrolyte reservoir and a pumping chamber connected via an inlet conduit to receive electrolyte from the electrolysis cell and connected via an outlet conduit to flow electrolyte to the electrolysis cell. The pumping chamber is connected to the electrolysis cell to receive at least a portion of the gas generated by the electrolysis cell to elevate the pressure of the electrolyte therein and force it into the electrolysis cell.
