摘要： This invention relates to bogies for railway rolling stock. In particular it relates to suspension arrangements for such bogies wherein the frame is mounted on a spring suspension arrangement. In one embodiment the spring suspension arrangement comprises two groups of springs on either side of a wheel axle (11) , each group comprising an inner spring (14) and two outer fore and aft springs (15, 16). In another arrangement there are two lower springs (14) on either side of a wheel axle (11) and at least one upper spring (21) above the axle. The arrangements described provide better lateral and longitudinal stiffness and shear characteristics which, reduce hunting and wheel wear. They also enable the axles to accommodate increased loads.

摘要： A method of making an engineering ferrous metal comprising the steps of adding to liquid engineering ferrous metal solid alloy carbide particles and thereafter permitting the ferrous metal to solidify. The alloy carbide particles are coated with iron or an iron alloy to allow wetting to occur between the powder and the liquid ferrous metal and the particles have a density which matches that of the ferrous metal to provide a uniform distribution of the carbide particles in the ferrous metal. A roll may be made having at least a shell made of metal by such a method by centrifugal casting or electroslag remelting.

摘要： The mobile acquisition of digital terrestrial television programs in the presence of multiple transmission areas is performed by using a combination of static topology information and dynamic information within the digital stream. Static topology of the transmission cells in a particular geographic area is used to identify potential adjacent transmission cells offering the same digital terrestrial broadcast (DTB) services. Dynamic PSI information as to a particularly frequency in an identified adjacent transmission cell is acquired and used to provide seamless transition of the DTB services to the mobile video device as they move from one transmission cell to another.
