    • A connector (100) having a plurality of terminals (50) for connecting to a circuit card (150) and a method therefore are disclosed. The connector includes a socket (110) having a casing (120) with an aperture (125) for receiving the circuit card therein and a plurality of terminals made of electrically conductive material. At least one of the plurality of terminals includes an elongated portion (11) and a substantially L-shaped portion (13) joined together by a U-shaped portion (12). The elongated portion has a proximal end (A) and a distal end (C), and includes a support section and a bending section between the proximal end and the distal end. The terminal is secured to the casing by the support section at or near the proximal end of the elongated portion. The U-shaped portion is disposed at the distal end of the elongated portion. The terminal continues from the U- shaped portion to a region approximately halfway towards the proximal end of the elongated portion and turns away from the elongated portion thereby forming the substantially L-shaped portion. The L-shaped portion ends in a lip section (15) curving towards the proximal end of the elongated portion.

    • An automatic locking device for attaching a first member to a second member, said device including: a receiving structure provided on said second member, said receiving structure including a first angled surface; a mounting structure provided on said first member and adapted to engage said receiving structure for releasably attaching the first member to the second member; said mounting structure including a second angled surface; said second angled surface being adapted to cooperate with said first angled surface; pivoting engagement means for pivotably engaging the mounting structure and the receiving structure, said engagement means having a pivot axis for providing pivoting movement of the mounting structure and the receiving structure between an engaged position and a disengaged position; cam means for releasably locking the mounting structure and the receiving structure in said engaged position, said cam means being movable between a locked condition and an unlocked condition; latching means for releasably locking said cam means in said locked condition, said latching means being operably connected to said cam means, said latching means being movable between a latching position and a release position, said latching means being biased toward the latching position; whereby engagement of said first member and said second member will cause the latching means to move said cam means to said locked condition.
