摘要： A sealed housing output speed sensor assembly (100) and method for making the same are disclosed. The output speed sensor assembly (100) may include a housing (102) having a base (104) and a cover (108), wherein the cover (108) includes a central opening (111) containing an epoxy. A sensor assembly (114) may be coupled to a printed circuit board (120), which is disposed within the base (104). A cable (122) may be coupled to the sensor assembly (114), the cable (122) extending through a wiring opening (131) through a sidewall (160) of at least one of: the base (104), and the cover (108). In exemplary embodiments, the epoxy is disposed over a portion of the cable (122) positioned within the housing (102). In some embodiments, a first portion of the wiring opening (112A) is partially defined by a first pair of sealing ribs (162, 163), and the second portion of the wiring opening (112B) is partially defined by a second pair of sealing ribs (179, 180) separated by an overflow opening (184) for the epoxy.
