摘要： Device and method for unstacking a stack (5) of flexible sheets, comprising: - a stack carrier having a stack compartment for holding a stack; - a number of suction cups mounted rotatably around a horizontal suction cup axis, with which un uppermost sheet of the stack of sheets can be engaged and be transported in a discharge direction; - a lifting member (7) which is positioned at the stack compartment discharge side and which is arranged for lifting a limited number of sheet at an edge therefrom which is adjacent the stack compartment discharge side, so that the top sheet (4T) of the limited number of sheet is brought into engagement with at least one of the rotating suction cups, the lifting member allowing downward movement of the lifted sheets under the top sheet after the top sheet has been brought into engagement with at least one of the rotating suction cups.
