摘要： A vertical farming structure having vertical grow towers and associated conveyance mechanisms for moving the vertical grow towers through a controlled environment, while being exposed to controlled lighting, airflow, humidity and nutritional support. The present disclosure describes a reciprocating cam mechanism that provides a cost-efficient mechanism for conveying vertical grow towers in the controlled environment. The reciprocating cam mechanism can be arranged to increase the spacing of the grow towers as they are conveyed through the controlled environment to index the crops growing on the towers. The present disclosure also describes an irrigation system that provides aqueous nutrient solution to the grow towers.

摘要： An exemplary elevator destination entry system includes a passenger interface device that presents a visual representation of at least one item that will accompany a passenger on an elevator car. The passenger interface allows the passenger to select the visual representation. A controller is configured to receive indications of passenger requests for elevator service and an indication from the passenger interface device regarding a selected visual representation. The controller determines an amount of space within an elevator car required to accommodate the item based on predetermined space information corresponding to the selected visual representation. The controller assigns a car to a passenger request based on a determination that the assigned car will have adequate space to accommodate the passenger and the item.

摘要： Construction of projects such as buildings, bridges, dams, industrial plants, means of transport, or the like with the aid of means and methods for incremental depiction of such buildings, etc. Complex structural features of the construction project are divided into discrete increments and characterized by ordered work activities essential to their construction, then are depicted as in construction drawings to assist in supervision of the project itself. Such characterization and depiction enable urgencies to be emphasized, as by shading structural features due to be started or finished by some given time in the construction schedule differently from those not due until later- or to have been completed earlier. Likewise, during actual construction, deviations from the project schedule can be distinguished readily, as by depicting structural features due (or overdue) in boldest shading and by diminishing the boldness of shadin the more time is available within which to complete subsequent features. The boldness of monochromatic shading may be by line thickness and/or continuity, whereas for polychromatic representation it may be by hue and/or brightness of color. Storage and retrieval of structural information, work activities, and other data are conveniently machine-assisted , as by an appropriately programmed general-purpose computer or by an otherwise similar computer especially dedicated to such purpose.

摘要： A lower leg exercise device (1) has an upper panel (2) and a lower panel (3) which are hingedly attached together along opposing longitudinal sides. A pair of elliptical forming panels (8) are hingedly attached to the lower panel (3) and are each foldable between a first position in which they lie substantially flat against the lower panel, whereby the upper panel may be collapsed flat against the lower panel for compact storage, and a second position in which they engage between the first and second panels in an upstanding manner so as to maintain the panels in spaced apart relationship. In said second position, the loading applied by the convexly curved upper and lower edges of the forming panels (8) to the upper and lower panels (2, 3) results in said panels each adopting a convexly curved shape. In use, the device is placed an the floor in its erect configuration, the user placing their feet on the upper panel and rocking the device back and forth on the curved lower panel.
