摘要： An engine control strategy for a marine vessel propulsion system receives a request for a gear from among plural transmission gears, determines an engine speed for the requested transmission gear shift, adjusts the engine to the determined speed for a predetermined amount of time, and prevents the requested transmission gear shift from occurring for the predetermined amount of time while maintaining the engine at the predetermined speed. After the predetermined amount of time elapses, the requested shift is allowed to occur.

摘要： Separation of an air compression supply port from exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) in internal combustion engines. In one aspect, an air intake connector includes an entry port for an EGR gas, and an air intake elbow is connected to the air intake connector, the elbow receiving air. The elbow includes a first passage for routing a first portion of the air to the air intake connector to be mixed with the EGR gas, and a second passage for routing a second portion of the air to the air intake connector and out an exit port to an air compressor. The second passage is attached to the elbow and extends through a bend in the elbow.

摘要： A fuel pump is disclosed wherein a substantially cylindrical plunger bore is provided with an annular drain groove fluidically coupled to a drain duct. A pump plunger is driven by a drive system located in a separate mechanical compartment that holds a reservoir of lubricating oil. An annular seal is provided adjacent the drain groove substantially at the end of the bore and retained in position by a seal support. Exemplary embodiments provide the drain groove and seal as being positioned immediately adjacent one another so that the seal forms a lower wall of the drain groove.

摘要： A method and system for identifying sensors is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a list of sensors that are differentiated by function and/or location, and detecting a plurality of sensors in a vehicle environment, where at least some of the sensors are identical. The method also includes receiving information from each of the plurality of sensors, and identifying each of a plurality of identical sensors as corresponding to a respective sensor in the list of sensors. The identification may be based on one or more of: a proximity of each sensor relative to at least one wireless receiver; at least one characteristic of information received from the sensors, that is caused by an actively induced change in the vehicle environment; and at least one characteristic of information received from the sensors, that is caused by a passive change in the vehicle environment. According to the method and system disclosed herein, sensors in the vehicle are detected and identified in a simple and cost effective manner.
