    • An electric drop-jet printing device comprises counters (23 and 24) of point-gap lines and columns produced on a sublayer (5). On the basis of the information on the kind of signs to be printed, recorded in a memory (21) the counters (23 and 24) control the condition of a switching system (17) connected between a working liquid drop deviating unit (3) and a drop counter (10) generating a signal corresponding to the angle of deviation of the working liquid drops in the direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the sublayer (5). The frequency of drop generation is determined by a generator (8) connected to the counting input (13) of the drop counter (10). The counting inputs (38 and 35) of the counters (23 and 24) of point-gap lines and columns are connected, respectively, to the generator (8) and to a pulse generator (20) which are synchronized with the movement of the sublayer (5) through frequency dividers (26 and 27) whose dividing coefficients are determined by a second memory (22) in which is recorded the information on the size of the signs to be printed.
