摘要： Systems, devices, and methods suitable for use with procedures performed at least partially percutaneously are provided. In some procedures, two or more access devices for providing access to adjacent surgical locations within a patient are used. Certain embodiments of the access device comprise an elongate body having a distal end with one or more cutouts. The cutouts on adjacent access devices are generally aligned with each other to permit passage of a portion of a fixation element from one access device to the other access device. A fastener with an elongated removable head may be delivered to the surgical site through the access device. After a distal end of the fastener is secured to the surgical site, a portion of the elongated housing is detached from the remainder of the fastener and removed from the patient.

摘要： A method of degassing and measuring oxygen level in an ink-jet type ink prior to filling an ink-jet tank with ink includes placing the ink under a vacuum to substantially eliminate air within the ink. The ink is circulated from an ink container (10) into a flow cell (16). The flow cell is connected to an oxygen probe (18) and an oxygen meter (22) for reading the oxygen level of the ink. The ink is diverted to the flow cell or to a fill unit through a diverter valve (40). When the oxygen content reaches a pre-determined level, the ink is cycled to the fill unit (30).

摘要： An ink tank cartridge (A) has a housing (10) with a bottom wall (28) and a divider (22) that separates a housing cavity (20) into first (24) and second chambers (26). An ink supply port (42) with an opening (46) extends through and projects from the bottom wall. A porous member (40) is accommodated in one of the chambers and abuts the opening in the ink supply port. The other chamber is partially filled with ink to a pre-determined level. The predetermined level is approximately 2 millimeters above the opening in the bottom wall in a preferred arrangement. The predetermined level is used to prevent excessive flow of ink through the opening in the bottom wall. A groove (62) is formed in the bottom wall to direct and transfer ink from the porous member to the ink supply port.
