    • A floating solar array made of a closed loop of flexible high density polyethylene pipes with elbows, T fittings and couplings. An anti-lift membrane fills with water and mitigates the wind forces. The array can have a stabilizing skirt going downwardly from the border of the array, especially when it is used offshore in the sea. A vertical axis tracking system with windlasses, two anchoring points and four mooring lines allows all the solar panels to face the sun throughout the day. For small lakes or mine tailing, the two anchor points will be onshore, on a concrete foundation. Winches to wind and unwind the mooring lines are located at the anchor point or on the solar array. For larger water areas, or offshore applications in the sea water, the anchor points are under water; using typically a concrete block or a suction pile solution for each anchor.

    • There is disclosed a high pressure dispensing nozzle for providing cryogenic fuel such as liquid natural gas (LNG) from a source to a filling receptacle, such as on a vehicle. The nozzle has a gun-style nozzle construction and a plurality of jaw members provided near a distal end for locking engagement with the filling receptacle. The nozzle further has a movable internal poppet to establish a fuel passageway through the nozzle for delivery of fuel therethrough. Two different triggers enable separate steps of locking of the nozzle onto the filling receptacle and initiating gas flow for ease of use. The two steps may also me combined and actuated by a single trigger. One nozzle disclosed includes a safety button for dispersing residual gas in the nozzle prior to disengagement to help avoid injury to the user.

    • A collapsible exercise machine for strengthening the core muscles (transverse abdominal, internal obliques, external obliques, rectus abdominis, and erector spinae) includes a frame mounted on a base on which a user sits and manipulates an upstanding lever arm. A seat is convertible between two differently- angled positions for back extension or abdominal exercises. The lever arm rotates a curved tube having a plurality of force adjustment holes. The tube passes through a frame at the upper end of a gas spring, and engaging an adjustment pin on the frame with different adjustment holes changes the amount of resistance. The entire frame above the base can be vertically adjusted to accommodate different sizes of user without altering the relative position between the seat (and user' s hips) and the axis of rotation of the lever arm thus not affecting/changing the designated resistance between users of different heights (resistance is affected when the lever arm is lengthened). The connection between the frame and the base enables the unit to be collapsed to a profile small enough to fit under a bed.

    • A surgical stabilizer for use with a surgical site retractor has a base, a bendable arm, and a distal cuff adapted to resiliently hold a tube of an elongated port-access device. The cuff may have a body defining a partial enclosure within which is held a highly flexible gasket having a slit for resiliently receiving the tube. The surgical site retractor may have a collapsible ring and a flexible outer portion attached thereto, the ring being sized to pass through an intercostal incision and expand therein under adjacent ribs to prevent removal, and the flexible outer portion extending out of the incision and drawing over the stabilizer base to mutually secure the retractor and base. The port-access tube may be for a heart valve delivery system using an elongated port-access device for transapically delivering a prosthetic heart valve to the aortic valve annulus. A method involves partly installing the surgical site retractor, anchoring the base of the stabilizer with the flexible outer portion, deploying the port-access tube from outside the body through the incision and through a puncture in the heart wall, and resiliently capturing a tube of the port-access within the partial enclosure of the stabilizer cuff. A second bendable arm on the base having a clip may be used to hold still a proximal end of the port-access device.
