摘要： An improved and tight package vibration isolator assembly increases the strength of the mount structure without compromising the efficiency of the damping features. An exo-skeleton bracket design provides a rigid structural strength able to withstand extreme loads. The bracket also allows forces to bypass the fluid components of the damping assembly that are otherwise subject to potential passage of forces therethrough. The exo-skeleton bracket provides a stiff structure that substantially surrounds the damping assembly. Tuning of the assembly is also simplified through use of a travel limiter assembly, the cross-section of which may change in shape, or characteristics of a surrounding resilient sleeve selectively altered, to tune the damping characteristics of the damping assembly.

The tubing material includes a stainless steel sheet metal (12) having a nickel or nickel alloy coating. The resultant blend exhibits physical properties, including tensile and tear strength, that are comparable to conventional EPDM rubbers, while maintaining the excellent heat and weather resistance possessed by EPDM rubbers.

摘要： A cooler in an EGR system condenses unburned fuel in exhaust gas prior to reintroduction in the engine. The cooler is separated into a plurality of packs each including a plurality of tubes contained within a shell section. The plurality of tubes contain the exhaust fluid which exchanges heat with a cooling fluid in the shell section. As the exhaust fluid passes through the plurality of tubes in each of the packs, the exhaust fluid exchanges heat with the cooling fluid and condenses. The exhaust fluid flows through a fluid connector when traveling from one pack to another pack. The exhaust fluid is then directed out of the cooler for recirculation back into the engine.

The crosslinkable thermoplastic may be a moisture crosslinkable polyethylene containing grafted silane functional groups. The abrasion resistant layer (4) may be extruded onto the thermoset either prior to or after the thermoset (2) is cured and either prior to or after the abrasion resistant layer (4) is crosslinked. The material of the abrasion resistant layer (4) may be extruded into tape form and laminated onto the main body member (2).
