摘要： The present invention is directed to a non-aerosol shaving composition in the form of a gel, preferably a clear gel. The non-aerosol shaving gel comprises water, an alkanolamine soap, preferably a triethanolamine soap, and a solubilizing agent for the soap, wherein the soap is completely dissolved in the water and the amount of soap and solubilizing agent is sufficient to provide the soap in the hexagonal liquid crystal phase in the composition. The present invention is also directed to an improved shaving method in which a shaving composition of the present invention is applied to an area of skin, then said area is shaved, preferably with a wet razor.

摘要： Disclosed is a topical prepartion for the treatment of open wounds and ulcers in humans and animals. the said composition consists of an alcoholic extract of Huangqin, Huanglian, Huangbai, Opuntia, Dilaong. It also contains βbeta-sitosterol. Wounds occuring in the skin as burns, stasis ulcers, cutaneous wounds, donor skin surgery wounds, chemical, mechanical or laser peel burns, chapped lips, cracked nipples, diaper rash, severe cuts, abrasions, sunburn, diabetic ulcers, trophic lesions such as decubitus ulcers, allergic ulcers, dehiscence wonds, acral lick dermatitis (acral lick granulomas in animals), lacerations, and wounds that are traumatic in origin, which are commonly resistant to the natural healing process, may be treated with this composition. THe application of this combination of wounds greatly accerlarates the rate of healing and reduces carring as the mechanism of action proposed here involves regeneration of skin through stimulation of stem cells that allows healing without substantial scar formation.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process for making air stable, water-reactive foam components comprising polymeric material and an active ingredient and preferably a liquid, which are to be delivered to aqueous environment, using the step of submitting a viscous mixture of the ingredients, having a specific viscosity and/ or being intensively mixed, to pressure, typically by using an extrusion process, and whereby a gas is introduced in this mixture. The process is typically such that only small amount of liquid are required and only limited drying is needed to remove the liquid to obtain the components. Typically additional gas is injected in the process (in addition to gas of mixing) to improve foaming. The invention also provides components obtained by such a process.

摘要： Use of a histamine H2 mimicking substance for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of multiple sclerosis. The histamine H2 mimicking agent is present in an amount which is effective to stimulate production of a cyclic AMP in the body. A phosphodiesterase inhibitor is used in conjunction with the histamine H2 mimicking agent to conserve the cyclic AMP which is thus produced. It is believed that the increased cyclic AMP levels serve to maintain the patient's myeline against self degeneration. The histamine H2 mimicking agent may be histamine phosphate and the phosphodiesterase inhibitor may be caffeine. The histamine H2 mimicking agent and the phosphodiesterase inhibitor may be mixed in a gel and administered using a transdermal patch.

摘要： This invention relates to an apparatus and method of drug delivery on a human body surface. The formulation comprises a drug, a conversion agent capable of converting the formulation from a less solid phase to a coherent, soft, solid phase, and a vehicle medium or carrier for the drug and conversion agent. The drug formulation is applied to this human body surface in its less than solid phase and is subsequently converted to a soft solid phase while the drug is being delivered through the human body surface. After delivery of the drug is complete, the soft solid formulation can be removed or peeled from the body surface as a coherent solid formulation. The drug formulation provides control over drug delivery rates and allows the formulation to be removed without leaving a messy, residual formulation on the body surface.
