摘要： The present invention relates to nanodisperse antiparasitcs and provides a composition comprising at least one water insoluble anti-parasitic drug and a water-soluble carrier material, wherein the water-insoluble anti-parasitic drug (preferably an Artemisinin-type drug or a quinine type drug) is dispersed through the carrier material in nano-disperse form having a peak diameter of the nano-disperse form below 1000nm. The invention further provides an aqueous dispersion of a water insoluble anti-parasitic drug and a water-soluble carrier material, wherein the anti-parasitic drug is in nano-disperse form having a peak diameter of the nano- disperse form below 1000nm, the invention further subsists in a process for preparing an anti-parasitic composition comprising a water insoluble anti-parasitc agent and a water-soluble carrier, which comprises the steps of either: a) providing an emulsion comprising a solution of the anti-parasitic agent in a water-immiscible solvent for the same, and an aqueous solution of the carrier, or providing a mixture comprising at least one non-aqueous solvent optional water a water-soluble carrier material soluble in the mixture and a water-insoluble anti- parasitic agent soluble in the mixture, and, b) drying the emulsion (preferably by spray drying) to remove water and the water-immiscible solvent to obtain a substantially solvent-free nano-dispersion of the anti-parasitic agent in the carrier.

摘要： The present invention provides a microarray for detecting a genotype at a polymorphic site in a plurality of nucleic acid samples, comprising a first set of nucleic acid fragments derived from the samples and a second set of nucleic acid fragments derived from a plurality of references immobilized thereon. The invention also provides a microarray comprising a set of nucleic acid fragments immobilized on the surface of the microarray, wherein the nucleic acid fragments are derived from the samples by amplifying a region in the sample containing the polymorphism through asymmetric PCR amplification. Methods of using and making the microarrays are also provided.

摘要： An apparatus and methods for the precise, repeatable dispensing of small, sample fluid volumes, especially as related to the printing of microarrays for biological and/or chemical testing. A pressure tuning module meters fluid volumes for aspiration and dispensation and builds pressure for fluid dispensation, in conjunction with a microvalve that precisely controls the volume of the fluid dispensed under the built pressure. A pressure source can be switched in line to efficiently purge the apparatus of residual sample fluid. A working fluid can be optionally aspirated into the system, prior to aspirating the sample fluid, in order to maximize sample fluid recovery.

摘要： A method and system for automatically generating a traffic incident management plan are disclosed. In one example, the method includes receiving information representing a traffic incident and validating at least a portion of the received information to ensure that the received information is sufficient to enable the generation of the traffic incident management plan. The method includes the use of a hybrid intelligence engine using a case based reasoning (CBR) process or a rule based reasoning (RBR) process to generate the traffic incident management plan, through use of a discriminate index corresponding to incident features. The method is coupled with a post-generation plan validation process. A plan evaluation mechanism using a confidence index is embedded.

摘要： The present method and device is for accelerating molecular hybridization by ultrasonic wave. A prepared hybridization reaction system is placed in the path of ultrasonic wave generated by an ultrasonic generator. High frequency vibration and irradiating pressure of ultrasonic wave result in effective agitation and flow of liquid medium. The flow of liquid medium then carries reaction molecular to move so as to speed up the hybridization reaction. Advantages of the invention include increasing the intensity of hybridization signal significantly so that a complete reaction can be obtained and time can be saved; and improving consistency of hybridization reaction at different locations on the surface of solid medium, uniformity of hybridization and idiosyncrasy of hybridization reaction. Main parts of the device are an ultrasonic resonance element and the corresponding resonance electrocircuit. The device has simple structure with low cost and can be operated easily and automatically. It can be applied to various hybridization reaction systems, such as Southern, Northern and genetic chips.

By locating a selector (22) in a base station (1), an intelligent selection can also be made in said base station. Preferably a selection is made per antenna sector and/or in dependence of antenna sectors, in which case direction information of other mobile terminals (2,3,5,6,7,8,9) need to be used.

摘要： The present invention discloses an axial flow impeller comprising a hub and at least three base blades mounted around the hub evenly, in which the base blades are capable of doing work on an external object, and a cover blade is detachably mounted in the front and/or rear of each base blade. When the axial flow impeller of the present invention is applied in a medium environment having a high density and viscosity, it will meet the requirement only by virtue of the base blade with the cover blade being removed; when the axial flow impeller of the present invention is applied in a medium environment having low density and viscosity, the cover blade can be mounted in the front and/or rear of the base blade in order to improve the efficiency of the axial flow impeller. In this case, the consumption of electrical power can be reduced significantly while producing an equivalent propulsive force, thereby being advantageous for energy conservation. Therefore, the axial flow impeller of the present invention can be adaptable to different medium environments and efficiency requirements, and thus the axial flow impeller can have good adaptibility, need minimal investment cost and can be convenient to use.
