    • An apparatus is disclosed for tensioning lines of a winch (16, 116) having a reel (19, 119) and three lines (32, 34, 36) wound about the reel (19, 119). The apparatus is used to position an object (12) on a support (14). The first and second lines (32, 34) are wound about the reel (19, 119) in a first direction and the third line (36) is wound about the reel (19, 119) in a second direction opposite the first direction. The first line (32) extends around the first guide (46), the second line (34) extends around the second guide (48), and the third line (36) extends between the first (46) and second (48) guides. All three lines (32, 34, 36) are connected to each other (32, 34, 36) and to the object (12) at their distal ends (38, 40, 42). An inner frame (70, 170) and an outer frame (72, 172) each contact the first and second lines (32, 34). At least one of the inner frame (70, 170) and outer frame (72, 172) moves with respect to the other of the inner (70, 170) and outer frame (72, 172) to maintain tension in the first (32) and second (34) lines.

    • A light-duty truck dumping mechanism is disclosed for pick-up trucks utilizing singularly molded truck box beds, and the tilting mechanism used to dump the contents out of the pick-up truck box bed. Another embodiment of the invention includes a double-folding ramp, which can be utilized to extend to the ground in order to allow for easy carrying and loading of a pick-up box. The combination of the singularly molded pick-up truck box bed having inserts therein with a hydraulic stanchion support and dumping mechanism yields a light-duty truck, which can be used for dumping. Although in its most simple form, a singular stanchion and hydraulic dumping mechanism may be utilized, more than one stanchion and hydraulic lifting mechanism may also be utilized.
