    • An organic optoelectronic device is provided which comprises a multi-layer structure and a substrate. The multi-layer structure is comprised of a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer, and at least one organic photoelectric layer. The organic photoelectric layer is an anisotropically absorbing and electrically conducting layer and comprised of rodlike supramolecules which comprise at least one polycyclic organic compound with a conjugated p-system, has a globally ordered crystal structure with an intermolecular spacing of 3.4 ± 0.3 Å along a polarization axis of the organic photoelectric layer, and absorbs electromagnetic radiation in a predetermined spectral subrange of approximately 200 to 3000 nm. The multi-layer structure is formed on one side of the substrate. At least one of the first and second electrodes is transparent for the electromagnetic radiation to which the optoelectronic device is sensitive.

    • The invention pertains to devices for presenting information, in particular liquid crystal (LC) displays and may be used in indicatory technology of various purposes. Liquid crystal display, according to the invention, comprises a layer of liquid crystal (2), situated between two plates (3), on each of which there have been placed or formed electrodes (4) and at least one polarizer layer (5), while the electrodes on at least one of the plates are made transparent, and at least one layer of at least one polarizer formed on the inner side of the transparent electrodes on at least one of the plates in the display is the E-type polarizer and made out of at least partially crystalline film of molecularly ordered structure of an organic dye. Situated above the transparent electrodes, local areas of at least one layer of E-type polarizer, formed on the inner side of the transparent electrodes, are modified to enhance their conductivity.

    • The invention pertains to information displays, in particular to liquid-crystal (LC) displays that can be used in indicatory devices of various types as well as in optical modulators, matrix systems of light indication, etc. The LC information display contains a layer of liquid crystal situated between the front and the rear panels with functional layers, and the liquid crystal has parameters providing interference maximum or minimum of transmission of reflection at the exit of the display and/or at the boundary of at least two functional layers and/or between the LC layer and a functional layer, for at least one linearly polarized component of light, and for at least one wavelength. The technical result of the declared invention is the enhancement of brightness and contrast of the image, especially for the light traveling normal to the surface of the display, decrease of thickness and simplification of the display design due to optimization of all or at least several functional layers and elements of the display and also due to incorporation of several functions in single layer, the decrease in losses and enhancement of optical characteristics of the display. Use of the declared invention allows optimizing transmission of light through optically anisotropic functional layers of the display, which leads to substantial increase of its effectiveness.
