摘要： Paving slab dewatering apparatus comprises a press having opposed press plates (10, 12) having drainage apertures, and a filter element (16, 17) on each press plate. The filter elements each comprise a sheet (10) of sintered polymeric particles, fused by heat and pressure to form a porous structure which may include fibres (31). The edge and corner regions (22) of the filter element are reinforced by adhesive or fusion to a non-porous layer which prevents flaking of particles from the filter element due to abrasion. One surface may be recessed to hold an adhesive strip for joining to a support plate. Or dowels, rivets or the like may be used to mount the filter sheet.
