    • A strainer attachment for the inlet fitting of a submersible pump. The discharge head (H) is mated with the annular enclosure (90) whereby filtrate may be pumped from the tank (10) through the discharge head (H) to the manifold (40). The remove the pump (P), the installation procedure is reversed, beginning by withdrawing the discharge head. Alternatively, the pump can be pre-mounted in a holder (68) with the discharge head prealigned with the annular enclosure, with the above sealing connection not required.
