    • The echo suppressor which may be used in a system for the simultaneous bidirectional transmission by MAQ modulation or phase modulation between two remote sources on a same transmission medium or circuit (10) comprises an adaptive digital filter (13) which provides the estimation sigma k of the effective echo.     • A device and a method for locating a source (1) provided with a microwave transmitter, particularly over short distances in a portion of a plane or space, are disclosed.
