摘要： An inflatable web is disclosed. The web includes a first film and second film ply sealed together via a plurality of generally transverse seals. The transverse seals define first and second inflatable chambers. The inflatable chambers are inflatable with, and contain, a fluid. The web defines a separation region extending at least partially between the first and second inflatable chambers in a substantially transverse direction across the web and configured to facilitate separation of the first and second inflatable chambers. The separation region includes a tear initiation feature that facilitates tearing of the web to separate the first and second inflatable chambers. The separation region includes a tear propagation line at least partially longitudinally offset from the tear initiation feature, and close enough to the tear initiation feature that force imparted to the web via the tear initiation feature will tear of the web through the tear propagation line.

The first holder includes a medium faceable area and a first contactable member. The second holder holds a blade and includes a second contactable member. A cutting edge of the blade may cut a medium between the first holder and the blade. The first contactable member and the second contactable member contact each other and defined a closest approach distance between the cutting edge and the first holder. The closest approach distance is longer than zero and below a thickness of the medium. The protrusion member protrudes more than the closest approach distance from a part of the medium faceable area. The cutting edge may make a cut line includes at least a part of a slit-cut and a full-cut in a cutting edge direction in the medium.

摘要： A plastic film tear line forming device includes a chassis, at least one vertical driver, a first cutter, and a second cutter. The chassis forms at least one opening adapted to receive a plastic film to feed therethrough. The vertical driver is mounted to the chassis. The first cutter is arranged above the opening of the chassis and is driven by the vertical driver to do a vertical movement. The first cutter has a lower end forming a plurality of first teeth, which defines therebetween first gaps. The second cutter is mounted to the chassis to be located below the opening and has an end forming a plurality of second teeth, which defines therebetween second gaps. When a plastic film is fed into the chassis through the opening, the vertical driver drives the first cutter vertically downward to penetrate through the plastic film.
