    • A method and apparatus for merging the processes of hearth baking and conveyor baking to offer the benefits of the two processes while eliminating many of the shortcomings. In one aspect, the present invention is a horizontal food-grade product conveyor to transport and support food substances within or through a cooking chamber in a continuous motion. The product conveyor comprises a frame, a support structure, a drive mechanism, and rotating segments of ceramic, brick, firebrick, stone, baked clay, transite, quarry tile, or other non-metallic material which form an endless baking hearth. Each hearth segment interacts with the next adjacent hearth segment to facilitate turning around a radius while forming and maintaining a continuous, flat product support surface and preheated baking hearth. The continuous flat hearth formed by the segments allows transportation and baking of the food substances in one direction while permitting temperature recovery of the segments during the return travel underneath the formed baking hearth.

    • A driving mechanism for linearly and reciprocatingly moving items in a heating chamber of a microwave oven is provided. The driving mechanism includes a rectangular tray for loading thereon an item to be heated within a heating chamber and a driving motor for generating a rotational force. A cam is provided for converting the rotational motion of the driving motor into a linear and reciprocating motion of the tray. The driving mechanism also includes a roller assembly mounted between the bottom of the heating chamber and the tray, the roller assembly including rollers for supporting the tray so as to linearly and reciprocatingly move the tray. Convex portions are formed on the bottom surface of the heating chamber on which the rollers move, and the tray can move in the vertical direction by means of the rollers passing over the convex portions. By moving the item both horizontally and vertically, the item can be uniformly heated, and the space within the heating chamber can be more efficiently used.

    • A method and apparatus for the removing solvents from coated materials while capturing evaporated vapors in a confined space and maintaining non-explosive conditions within the space. Microwave energy may be applied to a coated material as the coated material passes through a cavity configured to produce an electromagnetic resonance mode. The application of microwaves to the coated material causes rapid evaporation of the solvents. The cavity is also configured to confine the evaporated vapors in a small volume and control the inflow of air into the volume so as to produce an effluent waste stream which includes a relatively high concentration of solvent molecules while maintaining a non-explosive atmosphere within the cavity. The method and apparatus are particularly suited for treating coated web materials, especially continuous webs.

    • A heating apparatus of the present invention relates to a high speed oven having a turntable mechanism for heating food products by utilizing a combination of jet impingement of heated air (a jet impingement) and microwaves or either of them, the apparatus comprising a safety device and an exhaust device.     • The present invention of a spinning tray for oven mainly includes a tray body for placing food. The tray body having a hole at its center for inserting a sensor rod. A spring is disposed underneath the sensor rod, a positioning frame is placed outside the spring and is fixed underneath on the tray body. The main axle engages with the gearing by the elasticity provided by the spring. The gearing is engaged to few gear sets and a spinning blade is activated by a gear wheel. The whole spinning mechanism is covered by a cover and is fixed on the positioning board. A bottom box which accommodates the spinning mechanism therein between the bottom of the tray body. The bottom box having a fixing hole at its center for the end of main axle to go through. A bottom tray is for the end of the main axle to screw on. Accordingly, spins the bottom tray to turn the main axle.
