The improved food waste dryer comprises: a waste heat supply unit, a heating jacket positioned on the outer surface of the dryer drum, with a hot-air inlet to receive the waste heat from the waste heat supply unit and a hot-air outlet to discharge the waste heat inside the dryer drum, and a condensation system positioned in the main frame, to remove moisture included in the interior air of the dryer drum to increase the drying efficiency of the food waste dryer utilizing waste heat.

摘要： Drill cuttings associated with drilling fluid are thermally cleaned. The wet cuttings are fed into a vessel chamber having mechanical mixers, such as ribbon blenders, extending lengthwise of the chamber. Direct heating is applied to the chamber contents by introducing hot combustion gas from a heater. A combination of direct heating and mechanical back mixing of wet colder cuttings with drier hotter cuttings results in conditioning and conduction heating of the wet cuttings. The drilling fluid is evaporated and removed as gas. Dried cuttings are separately recovered. Caking and agglomeration of the solids is reduced.

摘要： A drying apparatus has a generally conical upwardly flared housing having an upper end provided with a cover and a lower end provided with an outlet, a mixing auger mounted on and extending upward from the lower housing end in the housing and rotatable to mix particulate material in the housing, and a magnetron mounted at the upper housing end and directed downward inside the housing to irradiate and heat the particulate material in the housing. The magnetron can be mounted directly on the cover. An adapter ring can be provided on the upper end of the housing between the housing and the cover with the magnetron mounted on this adapter ring. This ring is releasably connected to the cover and housing, and it is possible for the ring to carry a plurality of such magnetrons each provided with a respective coaxial wave guide extending through the ring and into the housing.
