摘要： A continuous-flow dryer for drying a material by hot air is provided with a first and a second section, through which the material flows successively in a transport direction. It includes a fresh air supply device, an exhaust air recirculation device for removing exhaust air and for recirculating exhaust air as supply air, and a heat exchanger, through which fresh air and exhaust air are led, for transferring waste heat of the exhaust air into the fresh air. With the exhaust air recirculation device a first part of the exhaust air is removed from the first section and recirculated directly into the first section. Furthermore, a second part of the exhaust air is removed from the first section, led through the heat exchanger, and recirculated as supply air into the first section. The fresh air supply device supplies fresh air as supply air into the second section.

摘要： An agricultural dryer assembly has a fan apparatus and burner assembly that form a longitudinal dryer axis. An airflow transition mechanism is positioned between the fan apparatus and the burner assembly and has an endcap with an end plate that is substantially perpendicular to the dryer axis. A transition housing has an upstream end proximate the fan apparatus having a first diameter and a downstream end proximate the burner assembly having a second size, and an open middle. The airflow transition mechanism also includes an end plate perpendicular to the airflow and for a single burner configuration, a first and second air-directing crossing members and for a dual burner configuration, two inlet devices positioned in a middle opening of the transition housing that extend through the axis of the fan heater assembly.

摘要： A heat exchanger comprises a casing designed as a hollow box by a top plate, a bottom plate, a front plate, a rear plate, and two lateral plates and a heat transfer unit accommodated in the casing. The heat transfer unit has flat plates alternately folded back in reverse direction. A first flow passage and a second flow passage are alternately formed in multiple layers between the flat plates. A high temperature fluid inlet and a high temperature fluid outlet in communication with the second flow passage are provided on the front plate side. A low temperature fluid inlet and a low temperature fluid outlet in communication with the first flow passage are provided on the rear plate side. Biasing means applies pressure on the lateral plate sealing member to the end portion of the heat transfer unit and seals the end portions of the first and second flow passages.

摘要： A burner assembly for a grain bin for heating air moving through the assembly to dry grain in the bin. The burner assembly has a collector adapted to receive fuel from a fuel line. A burner housing attaches to the collector receives fuel from the fuel line. A nozzle is secured to the burner. A flame diverter downstream from the burner housing diverts the flame outwardly from the burner nozzle toward the housing wall. A flame cone having a slope generally similar to the slope of the diverter is positioned near the burner to define a gap between the inside face of the diverter and the outer surface of the flame cone so as to provide a path for the burning fuel to travel from the burner outwardly toward the housing walls for a more complete combustion of the fuel.

摘要： A system and method for pasteurizing the surface of a food product includes a flame pasteurizing means arranged to transfer heat to an outer layer of the food product as it is carried by a cook belt. The flame pasteurizing means provides a medium that engulfs more than 50% of the surface area of the skin or outer layer and raises the temperature of the outer layer to at least 145° F. (about 62.8° C.). A washing means, arranged at an exit point of the flame pasteurizing means, removes the raised temperature outer layer and stops heat transfer to an adjacent inner layer of the food product. The pasteurized and washed product retains the same color and flavor as that of the unpasteurized product.
