摘要： A two-stage switch valve includes a valve body slidable in a flow passage of a fluid, and a spring urging the valve body upstream. The valve body includes a valve element slidable in the flow passage, an upstream guide having a ring shape and being slidable in the flow passage, and legs connecting the valve element and the upstream guide. The upstream guide is located upstream of the valve element. The legs are inclined from an axial direction of the upstream guide and extend from the upstream guide toward a center of the valve element.

A metering valve is included that is axially moveable under the influence of fluid pressure from a rest position to a flow restricting position. In the flow restricting position, the metering valve can restrict the flow of fluid through the axially extending passageway. The metering valve includes an upstream portion and a downstream portion. The upstream portion has a flattened top spherical shape. A biasing device is provided that normally biases the metering valve in the rest position, and for provides resistance to movement of the metering valve to the flow restricting position.

A ball and a restraining member are mounted in the first section. An outer sleeve is force-fitted in the third section of the main body. A hollow adjusting block is mounted in the outer sleeve and has an outer threading for threadedly engaging with an inner threading of the outer sleeve. The other end of the spring abuts against the adjusting block. Adjustment of a position of the hollow adjusting block in the outer sleeve changes a distance between the ball and the second section.
